Fluorescent Tube Recycling

Fluorescent tubes are classified as a 'hazardous waste' and therefore can only be disposed of in landfill sites which are both licensed and designated to accept hazardous waste. There is also a requirement that this waste is monitored and tracked by the Environment Agency.

London Recycling can safely recycle the glass and mercury content, preventing this potentially dangerous waste from causing serious environmental damage.
