Now aptly named Multi-Cycler. A Mixed Recycling Service offering a Greener and Cleaner Alternative to Landfilling/Incineration and General Waste Collections
By using London Recycling Limited's Multi-Cycler service to collect your business waste you can be sure that wherever possible, the contents will be recycled or disposed of in a responsible way. We would like to emphasise the importance of avoiding waste contamination of mixed recycling schemes. For example, please continue to avoid placing tissues, toilet rolls, food and liquids in this scheme.
Since the new rules on landfilling non-hazardous solid wastes and liquid wastes came into force on October 2007, (see The Environment Agencies website for definitions) companies are required to meet pre-treatment requirements. This basically means that if your general waste collections are going to landfill, you are responsible for having the contents 'treated' first. We see this as a great opportunity for your business to not only review how your waste is treated but consider opting for green solutions that can be achieved without any major changes. We say 'drop' the General Waste and 'Catch onto' Mixed and segregated solutions.
Multi-Cycler - a mixed recycling scheme is the ideal option if you are keen to cut general waste collections and improve upon recycling rates. Communicate and run the scheme properly with posters, emails and recycling awareness tools and achieve the desired recycling results whilst being fully compliant. Leave These Items Out to Limit Contamination
Used or new toilet rolls and tissue paper. They may seem harmles enough but used ones are contaminated and new toilet tissue can turn to mushy very quickly if it gets even the slightest bit wet.

What You Can Do In- House
Part of our service is to help educate our customers and provide support when it comes to waste minimisation plans. For example, to cut back on food waste and save money to boot, bring in food from home and only purchase what you think you will eat in your office canteen. It sounds silly but we can all benefit from a healther lifestyle and what better way to start than cutting back in 2008.
