Our compliance service covers REGISTERING THE WASTES DESCRIPTION COLLECTED FROM YOUR PREMISES and PRODUCING THE WASTES TRANSFER DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED by the Environmental Protection Act, 1990, Duty of Care. This means:
London Recycling will ensure that each waste type collected from each location is recorded and that the appropriate European Waste Code is allocated to it.
London Recycling will provide you with a copy of our Waste Carrier's Licence, which gives us authorisation to carry waste - this will need to be shown to the Environment Agency if they audit your company.
London Recycling will provide you with a block waste transfer note to cover all waste collections during a 12 month period - this will need to be shown to the Environment Agency if they audit your company.
London Recycling will log each individual collection of waste from your premises and can provide a detailed written report listing all transfers of waste during the 12 month period. This may need to be shown to the Environment Agency if they audit your company and request data of collections on specific dates.
London Recycling will respond to any changes in legislation regarding the handling and transfer of waste and keep you notified.
If London Recycling manage your waste - you are guaranteed to be 100% compliant with all current legislation.
