Our service

We have a range of internal and external bins designed specifically for food waste recycling, from 10 and 25 litre caddies to 140 litre standard bins. The supply of biodegradable bin liners ensures hygienic storage and reduces the weight of compostable material.

Once collected by Viridor the food waste is processed in an aerobic in-vessel composting facility. High temperatures and moist conditions are maintained during the composting process to ensure that pathogens are destroyed.

The product is a soil conditioner, which is rich in nutrients and peat free.

Our service

Bin the Bin is important as it cuts the amount of waste going to landfill and gets rid of 90% of plastic bags used in London offices. We provide a range of bins for businesses, 50, 180 or 660 litres, allowing you to ditch the desk-side demon.

We have a range of containers and recycling options and work closely with you to provide the best solution for your recycling needs. A range of marketing materials, including posters, banners and videos can be supplied to help raise awareness of the recycling scheme.

The service

To help you further raise awareness among employees about the importance of recycling and to enhance your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Viridor offers a collection of unwanted clothing and textiles directly from your premises.

Our Suit into Loot weeks are designed to give employees the chance to de-clutter their wardrobes and do their bit for the environment - all without any additional trips to recycling centres or charity shops - in two simple steps:

• Day 1: We set up an information display to inform employees about the initiative and provide them with textile collection bags. Get your friends and colleagues to fill the special bags provided and we’ll pick them up at the end of the week.
• Day 5: We collect all bags brought by employees and deliver to TRAID.

What happens to your clothes and textiles?

The Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development (TRAID) is a charity that raises money through the collection and sale of second-hand clothing.

Certain items are customized into new one-off pieces and sold under designer fashion label TRAID Remade, while others are sold in TRAID’s charity shops.
