Charity Initiative from London Recycling Ltd - Reducing Landfill/Generating Funds Through Resale for Needy Youngsters Overseas
Collections to date have been a real success with hundreds of Kg's of clothing and shoes donated to TRAID and DIVERTED from landfill. Those participants have done a fantastic job and we congratulate you all.
London Recycling Limited and TRAID have teamed up to turn the contents of your wardrobe into money to help the needy throughout the world. It's a great way to clear out your clutter in the spring and the late summer too! The initiative has been running for a couple of years now and has enabled us to ensure that:
Your unwanted clothes (good quality clothing and shoes that you no longer wear) are going to a bonafide charity
Clothes are sold in TRAID's U.K. charity shops
Great way of improving your CSR initiatives and win investor confidence
Money raised goes towards excellent projects to help the young and needy overseas
Less stress placed on landfill sites here in the U.K. as NO textiles are sent to landfill if they are unsuitable for re-sale or redesign under the brand name TRAID Remade
