The Laundry
'The Laundry' is a joint initiative between London Recycling Limited and BioRegional set up in June 2003.
A practical solution to paper and cardboard recycling for London's small businesses. With no minimum quantities and a simple charging system, paper, can and cardboard waste is collected by our dedicated vehicles and a team of 'runners' who follow them through the busy streets of Central London and Soho, making it possible to collect the specially branded bags and bundles without stopping and causing traffic congestion.
With over 1000 small business customers, the scheme has been a huge success and is still growing, with an area spanning Soho, Noho, Clerkenwell, Holborn, Covent Garden and the City.
